1. What HomeKeeper is

HomeKeeper is a demonstration project built for the Build, Ship, Shape: Amazon Developer Hackathon. It is provided "as is" for evaluation purposes, without warranties of any kind. The on-screen experience is a simulated Alexa+ experience running in the browser over a real AWS/MCP backend — it is not an Amazon product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon.

2. Informational use only

• Maintenance reminders, warranty information, recall alerts, and issue-triage suggestions are rule-based and for reference only. They are not professional, safety, or legal advice.
• Always verify appliance information (model numbers, warranty terms, recall notices) with the manufacturer or an authorized service provider before acting.
• For safety issues — especially anything involving gas, electricity, or fire risk — contact a qualified professional immediately rather than relying on the demo.

3. Acceptable use

• Upload only photos of appliance nameplates that you own or are authorized to share.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the demo backend or access data beyond the provided interface.

4. Demo data

The demo ships with a fictional household. Any appliance you add exists only for the demonstration. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after 7 days (see the Privacy Policy).

5. Changes

As a hackathon demo, HomeKeeper may change or go offline at any time without notice.
